Anchor Lane have topped up the live list once again this week, by announcing that the band will open the special intimate show in the legendary King Tuts Wah Wah Hut Glasgow. By personal invite, the Glaswegian hard-rock quartet will were asked to join Andy after the esteemed musician & producer heard the band’s debut album ‘Casino’.
Announcing the addition of Anchor Lane on to the show this afternoon via his Twitter page, Andy Taylor wrote; “I am very pleased to announced that the guys in @AnchorLane will be joining me at my Glasgow show at @kingtuts on Friday 15th May. Tickets are selling very fast on this one”.

‘Dead Run’ is the new single from Anchor Lane and available to stream and download from today. Featuring backing vocals and co-written with Black Star Riders frontman Ricky Warwick, this is the second single to be taken from the band’s eagerly awaited debut album ‘Casino’, which is released on 31st January ‘20.
“We had written lyrics about people in our lives who had struggled with addiction. When we sat down with Ricky we realised that he had written about that too, and that our lyrics worked really well together. That gave us a strong foundation to build on.”

Anchor Lane have announced that the band will release their second single from the Glasgow rock quartet’s debut album. ‘Dead Run’ will be available to fans on all major platforms from Friday 17th January 2020, including the band’s Making Music Pass and Anchor Lane App as part of the pre-order campaign for the band’s new album ‘Casino’ [Pre-order your copy here].
Co-written by Anchor Lane and Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders/Thin Lizzy/The Almighty), Warwick also features on the track with some signature backing vocals.
