About

Glasgow heavy rock band Anchor Lane’s stunning debut EP ‘New Beginning’ highlights the band as skilled songwriters with a talent for writing formidable riffs and delivering powerhouse vocals. The band’s first single release was the epic fan favourite ‘Finished For Twelve.

Anchor Lane have rapidly grown in stature and reputation, steadily building momentum and picking up rave reviews in national and regional press with their own headline shows, electrifying festival performances and key guest slots.

2018 has been an incredible year for Anchor Lane. As well as hitting the road for their first headline Scottish tour, the band had a remarkable run of prominent festival performances including slots at the famed Isle Of Wight Festival, Stone Free at London’s O2 Arena, Scotland’s beloved Belladrum Festival and a headline performance at Monmouth Festival in Wales, playing to hard-core fans and winning over new audiences throughout the country.

A highlight was undoubtedly the legendary Download Festival where the band played a blinding set on the Dogtooth Stage to a packed-out tent of fervent fans.  To round-off a sensational summer Anchor Lane were thrilled to be asked to join rock legend Tremonti (lead guitarist with Creed and Alter Bridge) as special guests at a sold out show at Glasgow’s O2 Academy. The band continued to wow crowds with performances at Hard Rock Hell Festival and a mainstage set at WinterStorm Rock Weekender.

Continuing their stellar live form into 2019, Anchor Lane recently announced that they will be special guests of UK heavy rock band Stone Broken on the northern leg of their UK tour. The band are currently in the studio hard at work on their much-anticipated debut album, due for release in 2019.
