ANCHOR LANE ANNOUNCE NEW GUITARIST

We would like to announce that Lawrence O’Brien has joined Anchor Lane as our new lead guitarist. Lawrence will replace our good friend and founder band member Jack Nicol who has had to depart the band for personal reasons.

Conor, Matthew and Scott here: “Jack has been a part of this band since day one, from playing small pubs to playing big festivals. He is an incredibly driven, talented and reliable bandmate but most of all he is our best friend. We are so grateful to have shared this incredible adventure with Jack and we wish him nothing but good fortune”.

Jack here: “Having been a part of Anchor Lane since the very start, making the decision to leave for reasons personal to me was extremely difficult. I think of the guys as brothers and we’ve created memories that I will hold on to forever. I’d like to thank everyone involved and I wish the band the best of luck in moving forward.”

We are delighted to welcome Lawrence into band. We have known and admired Lawrence since our time studying at the Academy of Music and Sound together. He’s an incredible guitarist and a great guy who will bring an exciting and fresh dynamic to Anchor Lane.

Lawrence here: “I’ve known the guys for years and it’s been great watching them go from strength to strength. Jack is an incredibly lovely guy and I wish him all the best. When Conor, Matthew, Scott and I got into the room together to play through some songs we clicked instantly, everything sounded and felt great!  I’m really excited to see what the future holds for us as a band!”

We are currently in the studio working on new music for our debut album and we are very much looking forward to introducing Lawrence to everyone starting at our shows next month!
